Overview

Found singly, pairs, or in fevers, swimming close to the surface, sometimes leaping out of the water, in shallow inshore areas, over sheltered bays, estuaries, and coral reefs, may also cross oceanic basins.

These beautiful rays can be found gracefully "flying" through the water, often in small schools.
