Overview

Found singly over shallow inshore to extremely deep open waters. Being quick moving and aggressive they can often be found chasing Tuna!
They feed on pelagic crabs, fish, paper nautiluses and squid.

They are potentially dangerous to humans.

Requiem Sharks have some of the most potentially dangerous sharks in their family and are responsible for over half of shark attacks. They can also be difficult to identify!
