Overview

Found moving slowly along gravel and sand bottoms, or hiding under rocks for camouflage, over coral and rocky reefs. Tiny stinging crab claw anemone's which resemble pom-poms, or boxing gloves, attached to claws, are used for feeding and to attack predators.

Many thousands of species live worldwide in sea water, fresh water and on land.
