01

Overview

Juveniles are dark reddish brown scattered with white spots, often lined up in rows behind the eye, a contrast that fades into the plainer pink to orange adult colour. They keep to shaded places such as cave roofs, overhangs and the branches of gorgonians or black corals, and pick parasites from other fish.
