I checked with fishbase, and they said it was a shortfin sweeper. So could you change this? I also have a lot of other pictures of shorfin sweeper, so I can add those too!
I guess I would like to check with an expert if they agree if this is a glassy sweeper or shortfin sweeper. Because according to several sources I checked the shortfin sweeper also occurs on CuraƧao.
Hi Joline
We are not experts either although we do have access to a lot of expert help, so please feel free to disagree anytime and we will respond accordingly!
We were going by Fishbase they show this one in Curacao, not the other one although that is not always correct as you will see from our blog!
Also the colour of yours is more in keeping with the Glassy Sweeper!
But we are quite happy to move it!

Are you sure this is the Glassy Sweeper, since it lacks a dark band at the base of the anal fin?

Post it to the fishbase forum and they will be able to help.

I thought maybe the shortfin sweeper, but I am no expert, that's why I posted it here!
Well we thought we could see a faint bar but then again we could be wrong, which one do you think it might be?
