OP says: I assume that this is the _juvenile_ of Scolopsis vosmeri. Note the horizontal white stripe (it is a marking on the fish, not a reflection from the flash/whatever). There were a few others around with similar markings and plenty of adults.
Thailand. Andaman sea. Any comments/refutation ?
