Thanks to whoever named this. Fishbase quotes a maximum length of 41cm for the Darkfin eel catfish. These are bigger. One was 66cms. Is it still most likely this fish?
I have found these catfish in 5 different locations in our Watamu lagoon. They grow to at least 66cms in length.
