That fish is in Poeciliidae. It is possibly a Xiphophorus sp., platy fish. Though there are a few platys, mollys and swordtails. Many hybrids are also possible I think.
What I can say is that it is a female. Female's give live birth and can be prolific.
She may or may not be ill (exopthalmia or popped eyes is a sign of stress). Some of the domesticated breeds have bigger eyes than wild fish so it is hard to say.
