Description

Also known as Gudgeon, Reef Goby.

Found in pairs or small colonies, often hovering close to their shallow burrow, over open stretches of coarse sand, also in very fine silt, and muddy substrate, of mangrove streams.
They feed on tiny crustaceans and zooplankton.
Length - 10cm
Depth - 0-36m
Widespread Western Atlantic, Caribbean
