Description

Also known as Bream, Redsnout Emperor, Reticulated Pigface Bream, Striped Emperor, Yellow-striped Emperor.

Found singly or in small schools, over soft bottoms and seagrass beds, of inshore bays, lagoons, and reefs.
They feed on crustaceans, echinoderms, small fish, molluscs, and worms.
Juveniles found over tidal reef flats.
Length - 40cm
Depth - 2-30m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific
