Description
Also known as Japanese Chromis, Japanese Damselfish.
Found singly, in pairs, or small schools, around caves and walls, over sandy areas with rocky outcrops, on outer reef slopes of coral reefs.
They feed on tiny crustaceans and zooplankton.

Damselfish are egg layers.
