Description
Also known as Fat Goby, Jade Sleeper Goby, Pacific Sleeper, Sleeper Goby, Striped Sleeper Goby, Storm Minnow.
Found in freshwater channels, marshes and muddy ponds also in brackish mangrove areas of coastal shorelines.
They feed on invertebrates, plants and sediment.

Widespread South America, North America
These Gobies spend their juvenile time in the sea but as adults most live in freshwater.

Posted by BigMikeThey have also been sighted in Florida. While they are born in saltwater, they spend most of there life in brackish water, and make their way to freshwater every once in a while. They can grow upwards of 2ft long . They are estuarine fish (which can make their way and survive in freshwater), and are found in the sea while spawning.
