A regular catch on spinner (Atiu, Cook Islands) evening and early morning, though never more than 3 at a session. Known locally as "Paru". Most welcome catch, - excellent fried or baked. We ate them during a 2 1/2 year stay on the island (no ciguatera experience with this fish)
