Found in schools over brackish waters of estuaries and coastlines.
They feed on small fish and benthic invertebrates.
Juveniles found seagrass beds and mangrove bays.
Length - 30cm
Depth - 0-40m
Widespread Mediterranean, Indo-West Pacific
