Also known as Northern Bi-coloured Triplefin, Threefin, Threefin Blenny, Triplefin, Two-colour Threefin, Yellownape Triplefin.

Found singly or in pairs, over coral and rocks of shallow lagoons, inner and outer reefs and in tide-pools.
They feed on benthic invertebrates.
Length - 3.2cm
Depth - 0-25m
Widespread Western Central Pacific
