Description
Also known as Bigeye Barenose, Bigeye Bream, Bigeye Emperor, Bigeye Sea Bream, Grand-eyed Porgy Fish, Humpnose Sea Bream, Hump-nosed Bigeye Bream, Large-eye Bream, Large-eyed Bream, Large-eyed Sea Bream, Redfin Bream.
Found singly or in schools, over rubble and sandy areas, close to coral reefs. Colour changes from no stripes to stripes when disturbed.
They feed nocturnally on crustaceans, molluscs, sea stars, sea urchins, tunicates, and worms.
