Description
Also known as Black-blotched Emperor, Blackspot Emperor, Fingerprint Emperor, Pigface Bream, Redsnout Emperor, Reef Flat Emperor, Reticulated Emperor, Sea Bream, Semicinctus Emperor, Slender Emperor, Variegated Emperor, Yellowhead Emperor.
Found singly or in schools, over shallow reef flats and seagrass beds of lagoons and sandy areas close to coral reefs.
They feed on small fish and benthic invertebrates.
