Striped Mojarra

Found in schools, over mud bottoms, in brackish waters, of mangrove-lined bays, creeks, and lagoons, often entering a considerable distance into freshwater.

Deep bodied fish with huge expandable mouths usually found over sand swimming slowly in a stop start motion while searching for small invertebrates.
