Overview

Found singly or in small schools, during the day along current swept bays, coastal lagoons and seaward reefs, dispersing at night to feed.
They feed nocturnally on fish and squid.
Juveniles found in schools, over sheltered inshore areas.

Barracudas are large and torpedo shaped with an awesome array of teeth.
Can be quite curious and approach divers but are relatively harmless to divers!
