Overview

Found in pairs, family groups, and large schools, hovering just above the bottom, close to their burrows, over coral, rock, and sandy, shallow coastal slopes, deep drop-offs, and slopes, of outer reef lagoons.

These cute little fish usually in pairs hovering directly above the ocean floor, facing the current to catch their food.
When predators approach they dart back into their holes or under a rock.
