False Puffer

Found singly, pairs, or in small schools, over clear lagoons and seaward reefs, rich in algae growth.

They mimic the Saddled Pufferfish, and have a file-like 1st dorsal fin as well as long transparent fins instead of the paddle-like fins of the Pufferfish.
Filefish can alter their colour and pattern to match their surrounds and so deter predators.
Although closely related to the Triggerfish, their "trigger spine" cannot be locked into place.
