Overview
Found singly, hiding during the day in caves, crevices, holes, and under ledges, close to drop-offs and reefs.
The Comet is a shy and secretive fish not usually observed during the day.
When alarmed it will poke its head into a hole, leaving the tail out with the eye spot showing to mimic the head of a moray eel.
