Barca Snakehead

Found singly, or in pairs, over rivers and in hill streams. They have vertical burrows, along the margins of large rivers, and wetlands, these are mainly used in the dry season, where there will be a large chamber, leading to the ground water table.
Juveniles found in small schools.

An important fish in aquaculture and is commonly used in rice-fish farming, also an excellent food fish.
