Yes, it could be a Humpback (gibbosus). From the book, it seemed that the Humpback did not have the spines over the eyes, but the picture is not clear.
There's some good information here: http://fishesofaustralia.net.au/home/genus/1502, which, interestingly, does not include the concatenatus. Search for the concatenatus results in images of both concatenatus & reipublicae and the name "Triangular Boxfish". Identifying juveniles is often like this.
Many thanks @jbj9802 - this allowed me to explore further. With the dorsal hump, could it be a juvenile Humpback Turretfish (Tetrosomus gibbosus) instead? Interestingly, a drawing seen in a local guidebook reflecting an earlier discovery on the same Cape Naturaliste shore was virtually identical to this finding in terms of form and size, but unidentified.
Found on the shore doing the Cape to Cape walk. Presumably a box fish but I would be grateful of any further suggestions on it's identity.
Thanks,
Colin

I think maybe it's a juvenile Smallspine Turretfish (Tetrosomus concatenatus). I've never seen one in the wild but it looks possible.
