I filmed a white tipped reef shark at the Mala Wharf in Lahaina Hawaii on January 1 of 2018 around 1:00 pm. at about 18'. While I looked at the video later on my computer I saw this fish in the foreground. I have asked a bunch of people ... who really know Hawaiian fish and no one seems to know for sure what it is. They think it is a damselfish, maybe in its juvenile stage, but it doesn't seem to correspond to any of the normal veriety that is located here.
