Sorry you are probably right, looking at the pictures Acanthurus mata would be a better fit!
The pics I have are nothing like fish base and I am sure Jim Greenfield would not get it wrong! Have moved it.

As for this species:
For A. dussumieri, I would expect a white scalpel. My first though for this one was Acanthurus mata, though I haven't got my books right here to check its characteristics.
Ok but what would you suggest in its place, it has the band between and behind the eyes, the stripe pattern is more pronounced, but I cannot find an alternative!
We don't always get it right but I think I am missing something here!
I am not quite convinced that this is Acanthurus dussumieri.
