Fish will change colour for a variety of reasons, when they feel threatened they often change patterns and colours, different water quality, sunlight, fish also can look completely different in and out the water!

Your fish is so tiny we are having difficulty identifying it!
I am Carter ,8 years old, i caught this in tidepool at punaluu. it was interesting because the clear part became darker after awhile in the jar. why is this?
