This is a relatively new fish only identified in 2002 by Randall and Allen.
On www.fishbase.org I found photos taken in the Maldives that look like this fish, identified as Maldives damselfish, Amblyglyphidodon indicus
This Latin name seems not recognized by whatsthatfish
