I guess the seller didn't mean a true shark, but some species that somehow resembles sharks, like a silver shark Balantiocheilos melanopterus, for example. Unfortunately I don't have any exact match so far, I think, later.
bought this fish for my aquairm, my partner was sold the fish as a silver shark, but I know it is not a shark, any idea what this fish is? thank you!!
