Chilomycterus reticulatus? It is the only Chilomycterus species listed on Fishbase as being found in Hawaii.

After seeing your video I think this is as Alyona says Diodon hystrix they are very similar but this one grows to a much large size!

I think this is more than likely Chilomycterus reticulatus just form the shape of head and mouth, could be wrong though!
