That's alright, Chris. Btw, I'm not at all sure about it being S.cretense and think other variants should be considered, too. There's another photos of yours here which actually shows S. cretense - made in Egypt, as you wrote. Though S. psittacus and other Scarus species juveniles should be examined as well.

okay, you´re right. So it could be Sparisoma cretense :) I´ve seen Sparisoma cretense in spring near Crete :) Looks realy like that!

Why did you make this conclusion that it can't be found in the Red Sea? According to fishbase data Sparisoma cretense does live there.
