@fishx6, I think you may be right! But from what I've read, the basket star is typically not found in the eastern United States (I found this off of Cape Hatteras, at the wreck of the Dixie Arrow). The star does have a distinctly Pacific look to it. :-)
I think this is Astrodictyum panamense - a basket star, but will leave it in the unidentified section to see if anyone in the community can confirm this!

I disagree on the basket star. I think they are brittle sea stars.
