I tried to edit my post but could not, so here is more information. I believe this may be a juvenile Plane Head File Fish. It is about 2" long. Note the white spots on its body. It was in rubble. I have seen plenty of file fish but never seen a Plane Head or one like this.

I actually think this is a juvenile Fringed filefish - Monacanthus ciliatus because of the prominent nose and the spots
Where was the photo taken - in Mexico or not? Couldn't that be Rudarius munutus - minute filefish...
