The photos I saw of L.cyanopterus didn't convince me that it deals with this species. Ziggy, could you possibly prove it with the one that really matches?
Looks like a snapper - Lutjanus sp. at least. Any other ideas?

Posted by @ZiggyI didn't realize the picture was repeated FWIW I think it's Cubera snapper (Lutjanus cyanopterus)
