this would be the back of the crab and I wouldn't say it was green, more sandy-beige and fuzzy. It was also probably no wider than 1.5" or 3.81 cm. I've seen a lot of Flamed box crab (Calappa flammea) in this reef but this is the first "fuzzy" and solid colored one. Of course there's probably tons, they're just hard to spot.
anyone? my best guess was a Rough Box Crab (Calappa gallus)
