I have more pictures which I'll post today, but this is probably the best one. I do think its a grunt, but if they're juveniles then they're probably a pretty large grunt like a margate because some of these are at least 11 to 12 inches long.
Well, I would say it might be some Haemulon sp. I guess this is the only photo of the fish. There's simply no right species at hand. But it might also be these are juveniles and they haven't the proper colouring yet.
white grunt? margate? sailor's choice? lane snapper?
