  1. I took this pic in Palm Beach, Florida. I actually sent this pic to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and they responded that this is indeed a semi-circle angel fish. They think it was probably released from someones aquarium. Thank you all for your responses.

  2. Pomacanthus semicirculatus comes from the wrong area, is not found in Florida, although it is possible it has found its way there! We were not too sure, but during our research we found an identical fish picture taken in a zoo and felt that maybe they would have got the correct id! This could be a juvenile changing into adulthood or it could be a hybrid of two others1 What do you think?

    I'm sure this cannot be Holacanthus bermudensis - it looks quite different. It is definitely P.semicirculatus.
