It doesn't look like Cryptocentrus cinctus,
C cinctus is shrimp - goby but I didn't see any shrimp around on the spot. I have attached few pics of C cinctus and you can see the deference from this one.
By the way, Cryptocentrus cinctus and Cryptocentrus fasciatus, is it same specie or not?

Looks like a Cheekspine Goby, Asterropteryx ensifera http://www.fishesofaustralia.net.au/home/species/86
Cryptocentrus cinctus comes in many variations of colour and the shrimp may have been in it's hole. Cryptocentrus fasciatus is the same species.
