Description

Also known as Klunzinger's Emperor, Redspot Emperor, Slender Emperor, Smalltooth Emperor, Yellow-lipped Emperor.

Found singly or in small schools over rubble and sandy areas in deep channels and over lagoons and coral reefs.
They feed on crustaceans, fish and invertebrates.
Juveniles in seagrass beds.
Length - 60cm
Depth - 3-150m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
