Also known as Cup-sponge Goby, Dog-snout Spongegoby, Dwarf Goby, Gudgeon, Long-snout Spongegoby, Wolf Goby, Wolfsnout Ghostgoby.

Found singly, usually on the underside of floppy sponges, or fan sponges, over shallow, reef flats and slopes, with moderate currents.
Length - 3.5cm
Depth - 0-15m
Widespread Indo-West Pacific
