Also known as Gudgeons, Reef Gobies, Seawhip Goby, Whip Coral Goby, Whip Goby, Yong's Coral Goby, Yonge's Wire Coral Goby.
Found singly or in pairs over current swept drop-off's, lagoons, back reefs and seaward reefs living exclusively on the Seawhip Cirripathes anguina.
They feed on zooplankton.

Depth - 3-45m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
Reef Gobies have the largest and smallest species usually with very distinctive colouring.
