Also known as Bar, Bluenose Perch, Grey Perch, Sea Perch, Silver Perch, Wreckfish.

Found in schools, over mud bottoms, of fresh, or brackish waters, over quiet areas, of estuaries, lakes, pools, and large rivers.
They feed on clams, fish, fish eggs, shrimp, and worms.
Juveniles found in shallow weedy areas.
