Also known as Doublebar Goby, Dwarf Goby, Gudgeon, Neon Goby, Pygmy Goby, Pygmy Skunk Goby, Reef Goby, Twostripe Dwarf Goby, Twostripe Eviota.

Found in small schools hovering above branching corals or swimming close to corals and sponges over sheltered clear lagoons and coastal reefs.
They feed on zooplankton.

Widespread Western Pacific
