Description
Also known as Scheele's Conger, Sea Conger.
Found singly, buried in the sand with just the head showing, over lagoons and sheltered bays of seaward reefs.
They feed nocturnally on crustaceans and small fish.

Depth - 1-55m
Widespread Indo-Pacific
Conger Eels are from the family of garden eels but much larger and usually found singly buried in the sand.
