Also known as Scheele's Conger, Sea Conger.

Found singly buried in the sand of lagoons and sheltered bays of seaward reefs.
They feed nocturnally on crustaceans and small fish.
Length - 20cm
Depth - 1-55m
Widespread Indo-Pacific

Conger Eels are from the family of garden eels but much larger and usually found singly buried in the sand.
Unlike Moray Eels Conger Eels have Pectoral fins. Ref:
