Description

Also known as Leopard Shark, Maneater Shark, Spotted Shark.

Found singly near the surface or in very deep waters of estuaries, harbours, jetties, lagoons, reefs and over the continental and insular shelfs as well as in the open waters of the ocean.
They feed nocturnally on virtually anything from domestic animals, cephalopods, crustaceans, detritus, fish, gastropods, humans, rays, other sharks, tortoises etc!

Circumtropical

They are potentially dangerous.
