Description

Also known as Dogtooth Cardinal, Dogtooth Cardinalfish, Nurseryfish, Tiger Cardinalfish.

Found singly or in small schools during the day sheltering amongst corals, out at night foraging for food.
They feed on benthic invertebrates and zooplankton.

Depth - 3-25m
Widespread Western Indian Ocean
