Also known as Coral Bream, Small-toothed Whiptail, Spinecheek, Striped Whiptail, Three-banded Threadfin Bream, Threadtail Bream, Whiptail.

Found in schools, over shallow, coral and sandy areas, of clear coastal and outer reef crests.
They feed on crustaceans, small fish and worms.

Depth - 2-30m
Widespread Western Pacific
