Description
Also known as Threespot Atlantic Damselfish, Yellow Damselfish.
Found singly or in small schools, sheltering in the arms of staghorn corals, sometimes in caves at night, over inshore and outer coral reefs. Aggressive when guarding their nests.
They feed on filamentous algae, planktonic crustaceans, hydroids, molluscs, sponges, and worms.
Not afraid of divers, will chase and nip!

Damselfish are egg layers.
