Also known as Threespot Damselfish, Threespot Demoiselle.
Found singly, or in pairs, in holes, amongst coral and rubble, over very shallow, silty, harbours and coastal reefs, rich in algae growth.
They feed on benthic algae.

Damselfish are egg layers.
