Description

Also known as Coral Bream, Monocle Bream, Spinecheek, Threeline Monocle Bream, Threeline Spinecheek, Three-lined Spinecheek, Whiptail.

Found singly, or in small schools, over sandy bottoms, of sheltered lagoons, mangroves and coastal reefs.
They feed on cephalopods, small fish and benthic invertebrates.
Length - 25cm
Depth - 1-20m
Widespread Western Pacific
